Yesterday was an EIGHT Green Arrow Day.
Fewer New Cases
Yesterday was an EIGHT Green Arrow Day. Below are the particulars for the day.
This past week we continued to see testing rates between 5.5 and 6.0 tests per week. It would appear that we have pretty much saturated the demand for tests. By no means are we suggesting testing is an easy and convenient process, but we now have the capability and capacity to perform them (see graph below).
This is the fourth consecutive week in which new cases have declined (see graph below). The past week saw a 24% reduction compared to the week ending July 19th. Last week we were projecting the end of the second wave. So far, it looks that way.
We continue to follow the Boston to NYC corridor even though it is no longer a hot spot. The reason is that several school districts in that region are opening up this fall, and we’d like the ability to analyze the before and after-effects.
New Cases
New cases have dropped over the last four weeks. That is a 24% reduction since the week ending July 19, 2020.
Tests
The USA is performing between 5.5 and 6.0 tests per week over the last five weeks.
