Yesterday was an EIGHT Arrow Day.

Fatality Rate Slows

Good Morning,

Yesterday was an EIGHT Green Arrow Day. Below are the particulars for the day.

A couple of our readers have asked, is the fatality rate improving? Below is our graph showing the weekly fatalities since the week ending April 5, 2020.

We reached a high of more than 2,000 deaths per day during mid-April. The number dropped to about 1,000 per day in August and now averages between 740 and 750 per day in September.

The fatalities rate was as high as 6.1% in May and has now fallen to 3.0%, based on the US having recorded 7.8 million cases of COVID 19. Notice the term “recorded cases.” What we still don’t know is what the actual number of cases, many of those that contracted the virus went unreported because they were asymptomatic. The CDC has mentioned that as many as ten times, more people may have been infected.
