Sunday was a NINE Green Arrow Day.
Summary for Week Ending September 20, 2020
Good Morning,
New cases are continuing their favorable trend by dropping almost 40% since the week ended July 19, 2020. There were over about 42,000 more cases, which could be attributable to the significant number of tests tabulated. We stated two months ago; there was substantial evidence that the second wave has subsided, and these past week’s results, although a bit higher, still support our supposition.
There were 834,528 more tests reported last week compared to the period ending September 13, 2020. Our thought is that the previous week included a holiday, Labor Day, and as such, there were not as many tests processed and recorded. Generally, there is a lag of about five days after a test is administered and then reported.
New Cases
New cases have dropped over the last seven weeks. That is a 40% reduction since the week ending July 19, 2020.
Tests
The number of tests performed last week jumped by more than 800,000.
