Yesterday was a NINE Green Arrow Day.

Adding Averages to the Analysis

Good Morning:

We’ve added averages for many of the statistics we tabulate on the MAK Table spreadsheet. The Table included these to provide another perspective and add context to the trends. To illustrate, when looking at the tests for yesterday, we see an increase of 13,656 compared to the previous day; however, we performed 166,144 more than the cumulative average or a 96% increase. Testing has accelerated over the last couple of weeks, which is much more apparent when looking at the running average.

Of course, the quick response is more tests, more positive results, which is true. Yet it is essential to note that the ratio of positive tests has continually dropped, and yesterday was the lowest rate (8.6%) recorded.

Below are the Green Arrows for yesterday compared to the day before.

We will continue to review the data we collect and information we provide to help better understand the impact of COVID 19 and its progression or regression.

PS: Several readers have told me they forward the newsletter to family and friends. Please send them directly to us, and we would be happy to add them to our distribution. Thank you.

Have a wonderful day.
