Yesterday was a FIVE Green Arrow Day.

Thoughts & Views

Good Morning,

We graded yesterday with “Five Green Arrows,” as a couple of the categories showed either sight increases or decreases. For example, new cases, new case test results were less than a percent different from the previous day. As of now, we see these as daily fluctuations and not trendsetting patterns.

Many of our readers have asked about our views and opinions, and we do have them, but probably different than one might anticipate. We do have thoughts on the information available for analytical purposes. In next week’s newsletters, we will highlight two principal categories in our publications: fatalities and how COVID 19 spreads.

Before we do that, we want to introduce the term “Epidemiology.” Epidemiology is the study and analysis of the distribution, patterns, and determinants of health and disease conditions in defined populations. It is a cornerstone of public health and shapes policy decisions and evidence-based practice by identifying risk factors for disease and targets for preventive healthcare. (definition source: Wikipedia)

We are introducing this term to our Newsletter because, in a way, our tables, information, and data analytics, could be of help in the epidemiology of COVID 19.
