April 4, 2020

Good Morning:

Yesterday Sunday April 3, 2020 we had a three green arrow day (out of 5 possible).

The two red arrows were the number of new cases increased in absolute numbers as well as the number of deaths.

The rate of spread of the virus declined to 13.2% which is a 40% drop from a week ago on March 27. The rate of increase is the fundamental barometer to gage how long and sever this will last.

Yesterday we had the highest number of recoveries, a key to the impact of the virus is the net cases (new cases – recoveries). That would be a good indication we are getting ahead of the curve.

There is a lag in new cases, about two weeks, for an outcome (recoveries, death or prolonged care). As you can see from the table about two weeks ago the new cases began to spike.

Correspondingly we should see recoveries spike next week.

Have a wonderful day.
