Yesterday was a FIVE Green Arrow Day. Below are the particulars for the day.
Yesterday another milestone was reached; we performed over one-million tests. This shows how our country, in a short period, created the capacity and capability to complete these. It might be more significant to have the ability to conduct the tests. Keep in mind we have 331 million people in the US that live in a large piece of geography, yet those that needed or wanted a test we able to do so with little inconvenience. No other country has demonstrated this capability.
What we noticed is that with that many tests, the positives were 4.6% the lowest rate in the last two weeks. Furthermore, the accumulative positive test rate dropped to 7.18%, the lowest ever recorded.
Below are our recommendations.
- Protect the small percentage of the high-risk population.
- Isolate those geographies and places of potential contamination.
- Get healthy, strengthen individual immune systems.
