In General, Favorable Trends
Yesterday was a NINE Green Arrow Day
Good Morning,
There are quite a few favorable trends and at the least, do not show any acceleration of this version of Covid. New Cases are down by 13.9% from last week and 6.1% from a month ago. The graph below shows a bit of a roller-coaster pattern over the last 5 weeks. We suspect that the data collection and processing during the summer months has timing issues because of vacations and holidays. It looks relatively flat to us as we try to filter those data processing timing issues.
Other favorable trends include weekly mortalities falling below 1,100 for the first time since late December 2020. Open Net Cases, the potential active germ carriers dropped by 7.6% compared to last week and by 3.4% from a month ago.
It would be very encouraging if these trends continue.
