Yesterday was an EIGHT Green Arrow Day.
Weekly Summary for Week Ended June 7, 2020
Good Morning,
Back to COVID 19, after all, there were a few other happenings that garnered the media’s attention away for the pandemic.
Yesterday was an EIGHT green arrow day, and the details are listed below.
We have summarized the information from last week, and the graphs below show the results.
Last week we established a baseline, that germ carriers are perhaps the most significant factor in coping and dealing with the virus, opening up our country and managing risks. This coming week we will address in a series the fatalities. Above all, that category drives the most attention.
New cases were about 3,200 higher than the week before or about 2.0% more. That might be a sign that the spread is increasing, but we would remiss not to note that there were 700,000 more tests this past week, or 24% than before. The relevant aspect is the positive tests continue to drop. Yesterday only 4.0% tested positive.
Death Rates:
Fatalities continue to trend in the right direction. We would attribute the encouraging results to less new cases, an enhanced understanding of who is at risk and how to protect them, and, most importantly, our health care professionals better adept to caring for COVID patents.
The most inspiring information is test rates. For the week only 4.3% of those tested were positive for COVID 19, meaning that more than 95 per one-hundred did not have the virus.
