Numbers Settling Down

Yesterday’s data and for the past couple of weeks is showing a steadiness in that there are no significant fluctuations. There are now gentle favorable trends. As in the new case data, the US has gone ten consecutive days of sub 2% growth with a tight range between 1.3% and 1.9%. Similarly, we see Greater New York with nine out of 10 days of sub 1% growth.
The flattened curve gives us time to take the next steps more thoughtfully. Our healthcare system is more capable of treating COVID 19 patients. Policymakers have better information to help guide their decision making. It could be there is light at the end of the tunnel.
