Yesterday was a SIX Green Arrow Day.

Regional Aspects

Good Morning,

What do Greater New York, New Jersey, Boston, western Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Washington DC have in common? Please pause and think of what the commonalities are.

All of them have a higher than 1.1% chance that the next person you meet has either had or has the virus. In greater New York City, it is almost two persons per one-hundred. Not quite half of all the US cases are in this relatively small geographic area and nearly 60% of all deaths. The US cases per million are 4,748, and without this region, it is only 2,653. To my friends that will be traveling there, take a bit more precaution. By the way, Connecticut only had 314 new cases yesterday.

We ask this question because finding out the most specific sources of the COVID 19 spread and, more importantly, how to eliminate those risks are critical to the US recovery/move forward strategy.
