Good Morning,
This past day we spent a bit of time looking at our previous newsletters. This retrospective analysis provides context to today and our weekly review. Infection rates are at record lows, and yesterday’s new cases are about 75% of the historical average. Fatalities are now roughly 50% of the average throughout the reporting period.
Our country can now perform more than twice the number of tests compared to a month ago. The positive tests have fallen to about 25% of the early days’ results. The prime “Hot Spot,” greater NYC’s rate has fallen to less than half of a percent.
These statistics may seem to fly in the face of some of the more publicized information, but what we are reporting is the hard data, and as one old TV show used to say, “just the facts.”
